Collar tabs and shoulder boards are originally applied, and are in the carmine Luftwaffe branch color of the General Staff, and are in very good to excellent condition. Collar tabs each have four or five areas of moth damage, as well as a damaged area on one shoulder board. Shoulder boards have light bullion wear. the nine silver washed steel buttons on the pockets and tunic front are originally applied and are all identically maker marked and dated 42. The shoulder board buttons are different and may be replacements, and are loosely sewn. Two sets of era tailor applied loops are present above the left pocket, one set on the left pocket, one set under the left pocket, and there is a reinforced hole for a screw back badge under the left upper pocket as well. All loops are sewn with the same thread, in a high quality manner. The uniform retains its inner belt and buckle, as well as a dagger hanger. A nice high quality General Staff Officer tunic.
