The Colt Single Action Army in this set is a Second Generation built in 1969 with the 5-1/2" barrel . The gun was masterfully deep chisel engraved in a 19th century scroll pattern with punch dot background that covers nearly every aspect of the revolver with the exception of the botton of the barrel, front grip strap and the flutes. Every screw on this revolver engraved. Muzzle is banded. Even the front sight blade is engraved. The workmanship is flawless. Gun was subsequently silver plated and fitted with silver medallion ivory grips. right grip is carved with a downward kill eagle. CONDITION: Gun has never been fired since work was performed and is absolutely breathtaking in near new condition inside and out. Gun (B) is a small Browning patent Colt Model 1908 manufactured 1918. In this example, it retains the case colored trigger, grip safety, slide safety and magazine release. The engraving is done in fancy scroll with punch dot background in the same manner as the single action but in a small work area. It, too, has been silver plated and sports a pair of gold medallion ivory grips. CONDITION: Gun is in as new condition with some slight bore residue, retaining 100% of the finish applied at time of engraving. Two absolutely amazing Colts.
