Lot contains: (A) Luftwaffe first model "Voos" dagger, and (B) Luftwaffe first model "Malsch" dagger. (A) Luftwaffe dagger made by "Emil Voos" in overall near mint condition, but mismatched. Blade in near mint condition, with light runner marks and a blemish on the tip. Aluminum cross guard and pommel and wire wrapped leather grip are in near mint condition, with some minor damage to the leather. Blue leather scabbard is in excellent to near mint condition, with mild leather wear, and a 1/4" piece missing on the lower edge. Nickel plated steel fittings and chain are excellent to near mint, and the hanger assembly is marked "DRGM". (B) Luftwaffe unit marked dagger made by "David Malsch" in overall excellent condition. Cross guard and top scabbard fitting are marked to I./ Flak Rgt. 12 63". Blade in excellent condition, with light runner marks and very light freckling to 15-20% of the blade. Nickel cross guard and pommel are excellent and the blue leather wire-wrapped grip has approximately 10% of wear. Dagger includes the correct chain and hanger in near mint condition.
