Late 19th to early 20th century, France. Of typical form, the bird cage containing a mechanical bird with scarlet plumage sits on a floral shrub. The circular cage with silvered panels around the base, embossed with frolicking cherubs, raised on turned brass feet. Music box is operable, on/off switch is functioning, plumage on bird is slightly faded, overall good to very good.
