Comprising: A) Huntingdon County Pennsylvania Kentucky rifle stamped on top of octagonal barrel "J.F. Gehrett", lock stamped "LENAM/LANCASTER". Features a partially figured full length maple stock, double set triggers, brass furniture includes a two piece patch box and a target trigger guard. B) Huntingdon County Pennsylvania, full stock percussion rifle signed on top flat of octagonal "J. DOUGALASS". Features include full length walnut stock, double set triggers, and brass furniture. CONDITION: A) Very good overall. Barrel and lock retains a spotted gray patina with some heavy corrosion at breech and on lock plate. Brass retains a mellow patina and stock retains much of original finish with some scattered marks from use. B) Fair to poor, lock and barrel have been painted black, patch box is missing brass strip below lib, top strip replaced. Trigger guard replaced, stock has repaired crack in wrist and several other areas of restoration.
