The John Inglis Company of Toronto manufactured approximately 151,000 revolvers February of 1944 to September 1945 under military contract. These were made for use in World War II. Features tangent 500 yard rear sight, Canadian proof marks and black composite grips. stamped "MK I" on left side of frame with "BROWING FN 9MM HP". CONDITION: Gun is a dull parkerized grey-brown patina. Retains 75% of reapplied finish with scattered handling marks and wear. Very good bore and action. Comes in its original case/shoulder holster. No visible signs of importer on this gun.
