Lots contains: (A) Luftwaffe Officer tunic, (B) Luftwaffe trousers, (C) Luftwaffe pilot badge, and (D) pair of boots. (A) Tailor made fine quality wool Tuchrock in the rank of 2nd Lieutenant, in overall near mint condition. Collar has machine sewn golden yellow (for either flight or paratrooper personnel) collar tabs in near mint condition, and tailor applied officer bullion tress. Sewn in shoulder boards are are near mint as well with no damage to the bullion. Early droop tail officer bullion eagle is correctly hand applied over the right pocket, with no apparent damage. The four front and four pocket buttons are all matching and era applied. Two smaller shoulder board buttons are also untouched. A ribbon bar consisting of a four year Luftwaffe service ribbon, and a 1938 Austrian Anschluss ribbon are pinned to the tunic. Two era applied badge loops are present under the left upper pocket. The dagger hanger is present and the full lining is in rayon with no damage visible. A Bremen tailor label is present in the neck. (B) Pair of Luftwaffe officer trousers in a fine quality blue gray wool in overall near mint condition. Trousers are 41" long with a 32" waist, with a rayon waistband and cotton lining. Side adjustment straps and blue steel buckles are present along with three slit pockets on the front and rear. 14 original era applied plastic buttons are present on the fly, waistband, pockets and suspender straps. There are no visible markings. (C) Luftwaffe pilot's badge made by "BWS" in overall very good condition. Zinc badge its original pin and catch assembly and is heavily tarnished, with bubbling under the silver finish. (D) German World War II officer's boots in overall very good condition. Black leather boots are 17" tall and are in about size 11. Markings on the soles appear to be a "43" and a "8".
