Lot contains: (A) Heer Enlisted Signal Waffenrock tunic, (B) Pair of matching Signal trousers, and (D) Pair of Boots. (A) Prewar Funker (private) dress tunic in overall near mint condition. These Waffenrocks were worn until 1940 and were generally stored at home during the war. This rougher wool tunic is near mint with no visible damage. Collar is green wool, with lemon yellow wool piping for the Signal branch. The collar tabs are lemon backed with flat wire Litzen, and are tailor machine sewn applied. The sewn in enlisted shoulder boards are green wool with Signal wool piping. Shoulder board buttons have a "2" on them, and the boards show evidence of an older chain stitched emblem. Brass ciphers were added at some point and each one has a missing prong. A green wool backed flat wire eagle is hand applied to the right breast, and has been replaced at some point. Likely to have been postwar, as remnants of older thread are present on the front. Sleeve cuffs are green wool with lemon piping, and yellow backed flat wire Litzen. All the buttons on the tunic are matching and era sewn. Tunic has size markings on the left inside with a "M39" stamp, and appears to be in a small size, with full rayon lining. A "Grade 4" marksmanship lanyard is present on the right side. (B) Unmarked Waffenrock straight leg wool trousers sized (about a 28" waist and 39" length). Trousers are excellent and have the Signal branch wool piping, with boots straps. Trousers retains all 10 era applied plastic buttons with two side adjustment pull tabs and buckles. The lining is cotton. The right leg has a one inch trail of moth bites and several holes on the outer side, and two holes on the inner right. (C) Pair of black leather jack boots in overall excellent condition. Boots are 16" tall in about a size 10. Each boot has an adjustment tab and buckle at the top with inside pull straps.
