A German Third Reich NSDAP "Kreisleiter" tunic with belt and buckle in overall, near mint condition. The double breasted Kreisleiter tunic is made of a brown dyed woven tricot. The brown tricot has some minor fading which becomes evident when lifting a pocket flap, or the collar to reveal a darker brown area that has been shaded from light for decades. Two hand applied collar tabs are affixed to the tunic's collar. They are made of a brown velvet covered base, piped in white rayon, and respectively adorned with gilded aluminum eagle and double oak leaves. The collar is also piped in a thicker white rayon piping for "Kreisleiter". The left arm has a hand applied Political Leaders Armband attached to it which is in near mint condition. The lower portion of the armband is no longer attached to the sleeve with thread. Eight buttons are used on the front of the tunic to secure the pocket flaps, as well as the main closure. These buttons feature an eagle and swastika motif and show a beautiful patina from age. Two rear belt supporting buttons are securely attached, and match the patina of the tunic's front buttons. A War Merit Cross ribbon and a Social Welfare ribbon have been looped through the top button hole and sewn in place. Both ribbons appear to be period attached. The interior of the tunic is lined with a high quality brown rayon which is in near mint condition. The sleeves are lined with a striped rayon fabric. The tunic's interior features one interior pocket on the left side. The Brown Political Leader's Leather Belt with Buckle is in near mint condition. The leather belt shows a few minor scuffs, some being from where the buckle has rubbed against, but the rest remains nearly new. The belt is RZM stamped near its end in the leather. The Political Buckle is made of gilded aluminum and is RZM marked "M4/22". The buckle is completely intact and without damage.
