Lot contains: (A) Naval Officer White Tunic, and (B) Pair of White Leather Gloves. (A) An off-white cotton tunic for a Lieutenant Commander (Korvettenkapitan), in overall near mint condition. Tunic has some age discoloration with very minor staining on inside collar, which is from being on a display mannequin for an extended period. No markings are present. Shoulder boards are detachable for laundering of tunic, and are secured by a "T" fittings on the end of the boards and small brass buttons. The brass buttons are secured by smaller buttons slipped into the tunic. Four gold gilt brass buttons are on the front, and four on the tunic pockets. Seven buttons are secured by nickel plated steel rings, and one by a brass ring. Gold gilt aluminum KM breast eagle, with maker mark of "M" in a diamond is attached to the right breast via three era loops. A ribbon bar with four ribbons is pinned to the left breast. One of the ribbons is a four year service Kriegsmarine award. Lower hook on the breast eagle is broken off. (B) Pair of light weight white leather gloves in excellent condition. Wrists are secured by a brass snaps which have corrosion present. One gloves is ink marked which appears to be the size marking of 8-1/2. Right glove has some stains on the index finger.
