Tailor-made fine quality wool Tuchrock in the rank of Oberstleutnant (Lt. Colonel) in overall very good condition. Tunic has approximately 15 very small moth holes and nips on the tunic, mostly on the back. Dark green wool collar has machine sewn dark green wool backed bullion collar tabs, with pink rayon piping. Collar tabs have been replaced at some time, as there are earlier machine sewn stitch lines under the collar. Sewn in Lt. Colonel Panzer shoulder boards are very good condition, with age stains on the bullion and one inch of the pink piping on the rear of the left board being missing. Shoulder boards were replaced, and it appears to have been done post-war, based on the lining around the armpit having been resewn. Fine quality officer bullion eagle is hand applied over the right pocket, but appears to be a replacement. The five front and four pocket buttons are all matching and most are era applied. Two smaller shoulder board buttons are present. A ribbon bar consisting of three ribbons are pinned to the tunic. Six era applied badge loops are present under the left upper pocket, and two are damaged. Iron Cross 2nd Class and Russian Front ribbons are present in the second button hole. The dagger hanger is present and the full lining is in rayon, but the lining appears to have been replaced at some point. The uniform still displays well.
