Heer Panzer Officer visor cap in overall near mint condition. An early war pink piped saddle shaped visor in a field gray wool, with a 1/4" stain on the top. Pink wool piping denotes the Panzer branch. Officer bullion chinstrap and era aluminum eagle, wreath, and cockade are near mint. Insignia is all originally applied. Band is in dark green wool. Visor is intact with no damage. Inside sweat shield is present with the maker "Cobra" logo and no size marking. Leather sweatband is intact and near mint, and there are two "21"s stamped inside the band, as well as a "211/22" in pencil. Rayon lining is intact and also rates as near mint.
