A Luftwaffe General's visor, made of parts, in near mint condition. The base visor is what appears to be a post war assembled visor using some wartime material and some postwar material. The top of the cap is made of a blue tricot wool and is in near mint condition, with only some slight soiling to the back of the cap. The black braided exterior cap band is in near mint condition. The cap is lined with a gold piping which has some patina in areas and no visible damage. The gold bullion eagle, cockade and chinstrap appear to be wartime produced. The insignia is hand sewn to the cap and both pieces are in near mint condition. The interior of the cap is lined with a ribbed rayon material. The lining shows some staining and the initials "A. M." in pen. The sweatshield is made of plastic, and has the Sonderklasse with eagle. The sweatband is a thin leather with the maker's mark for "Clemens and Wagner". A cotton fabric is under the sweatband.
