A magnificent upright music box of Polyphon, style 104, produced in 1900 and one of the most popular instruments of its time, finding itself a home in many pubs and taverns across Europe. It is housed in a glossy walnut case and paired with beautiful woodwork throughout, such as the incredibly detailed handcrafted marquee crowned at top of the cabinet. It operates manually through a hand crank, playing 19-5/8 inch discs and equipped with an on/off switch. Contains one disc, titled The Skater, with additional discs provided. Complete with double combs and brass hardware. Made in Germany and later restored. Includes one key original to the music box. It does not have a stand or base.
