Lot contains a pair of German combat low-boots, in excellent condition, with a pair of ankle gaiters in near mint condition. The low boots are made of a cow hide leather which seem to have only been worn moderately and exhibit just the right amount of wear for a late war combat mannequin display. The soles of the boots are leather soled and have irons professionally cobbled to the heel and toe of each pair. Hobnails have also been added to the bottom of the boots for traction. The hobnails and irons on the soles of the boots are in excellent condition and show only minor wear. The boots also appear to have their original laces laced through the eyelets still. Three of the lace ends have begun to fray. The ankle gaiters are in near mint condition and appear to be unworn. The canvas material is in mint condition and is nicely marked on each gaiter with the maker's information, and are dated 1942. The leather adjustment straps and buckles are in near mint condition.
