Factory letter states this carbine in caliber .25-20 was shipped with no sling ring, but rather screw eyes on January 12th, 1906. Features round barrel, full magazine, front magazine retainer, single barrel band, ivory post front sight, folding ladder carbine rear sight, tang sight, walnut stocks. CONDITION: Barrel retains approximately 90% original blue. Flashes of blue on frame, basically flaked to soft patina. Straight screws. Traces of color on hammer and lever. Stocks are excellent, proud to metal with usual dings. Strong, sharp rifling. Fine action. Nice, clean 1892 carbine.
