The Model 10 was manufactured 1907 to 1929. This is basically a standard non-"US" marked, cylinder stamped riot gun that has a small anchor and "REP" inspector stamp on right side of barrel. This is a very scarce gun to find in riot configuration. Several in this serial range were donated to the United States Navy in 1842 and 1943 and were also used my US Marines in the 20's and 30's to guard US Mail trains. This is not a military model as it is in full high polish blue configuration with pistol grip walnut stock and grooved forend. CONDITION: Shotgun has seen little use. Wear at bottom of pump. Toning on tang and trigger guard. Some light handling marks on frame. Overall, the metal is a solid 85-90% original factory blue. Stocks are excellent. Fine bore and action. Definitely one of the more difficult to locate riot guns; popular with both government and criminals alike.
