Made in 1961 indicated by the "m" suffix on the lever boss. EG model with takedown feature. Brass cartridge counter and lever safety. Redfield peep sight with plugged rear sight.CONDITION: Barrel retains 85% blue with one spot halfway out(possibly a rack mark). Action retains 80% blue with some scratches and blue wear from where you carry it. Bore is good and shootable. Original Savage marked lined buttplate retaining 60% original finish. Stock has 60% original varnish with some flaking. Checkering is sharp with one ding in forearm. Minor scratches and dings from normal hunting use. Non-original sling swivel studs. 50% original case colors on lever. Mechanically sound and functions fine.
