Late P code series I. Manufactured by Krieghoff for commercial sales. Features include; round barrel with dovetailed inverted V front sight, V notch rear sight on rear link, thumb safety marked "GESICHERT" in the upper position, extractor marked "GELADN", center toggle link marked "H/anchor/K" and correct "(eagle) 2" Waffenamts. This is an all matching numbers. The side plate is numbered correctly but does not have an eagle two Waffenampt on it. Eagle N proof marks on barrel, left side of receiver and left side of the frame. Magazine has been numbered to the gun. It is the incorrect type of magazine and does not have an eagle two Waffenampt. CONDITION: Gun retains approximately 90% of the original factory applied blue finish; straw small parts and just a bit of high edge wear and the rear strap is thinning. Ritzmann brown checkered grips with sharp checkering. Mirror bore with sharp lands and grooves. Approximately 200 were produced. Listed by serial number on page 77 of Gibson's book. A rare and desirable Krieghoff luger.
