This is a 3rd variation Kriegsmarine marked Mauser HSc pistol. Eagle M on the front strap with an Eagle M on the left trigger guard web. Estimated procurement of this variation is 2,000 pistols, with 25 being recorded in "Axis Pistols" by Jan Still. This gun is listed by serial number as one of the recorded guns with this marking. CONDITION: Retains 85% original finish overall with some minor areas of surface rust and very light pitting on the edges, as one would expect from a Navy issued gun. Wood grips are very good showing wear with handling marks. Bore is excellent with sharp rifling. Fine mechanical function.
