Manufactured 1893 with a 26 inch full octagon barrel with sporting blade front sight and checkered elevator adjustable rear sight and full length magazine. Two line Colt's Hartford address on top barrel flat and 32 CAL, marking forward of receiver.. Two piece American walnut stocks with checkered forearm and crescent butt plate. High polish blue finish on receiver with Rampant Colt on left receiver . Medium Frame size. CONDITION. Very Good with over 80% finish remaining on barrel and magazine. Finish loss is at edges of barrel flats and muzzle. Finish is thinning forward of forearm. Receiver retains 80% finish with loss at balance point and grasping area of frame. Two piece walnut stocks are very good with generous amounts of factory varnish remaining. Typical nicks and bruises from use are evident but no major distress Upper and lower tangs are worn to a dove grey patina. Bore is excellent, bright and shiny with sharp rifling. Action is crisp and functions properly. TDW
