Petite Colt .38-40 Lightning Saddle Ring Carbine with 20 inch round barrel with pedestal carbine front sight and ladder adjustable rear carbine rear sight. Two line Colt Hartford address on barrel top with chamber marked 38Cal on left side,. Blue and case color finishes with two piece American walnut stocks with checkered forearm and carbine pattern butt with steel butt plate. Rampant colt on left side of frame with saddle ring to rear. CONDITION. Good overall with over 60% thinning blue finish on barrel and 40% thinning blue on receiver. Receiver has scratches and abrasion on sides with finish loss at balance point of belly. Two piece walnut stocks are very good with good finish and are full sized. Two very small hairline cracks emit from rear of tang. Bore is very fine and is bright with sharp rifling. Action is crisp and functions properly. TDW
