Mono-blocked 28 - 3/4" barrels are fitted with matted ventilated rib, ventilated side ribs, are ported, and Briley thin wall chokes are installed. Mono-bloc with Perazzi name and address on top left is stamped with serial number and very light Italian nitro proofs (date stamp illegible). Coin finished action with removable V-spring trigger group is engraved with near full coverage well cut open shaded scroll surrounding Bulino game scenes; flying snipe on left side, and flushing cock pheasant on right. Bottom of action depicts a pair of snipe diving toward a marsh. Engravers signature is at bottom rear of pheasant scene. Intricately burl figured and marbled European walnut pistol grip buttstock measures 15 - 1/4" over black Pachmayr pad. One piece field forend matches well and has Deeley type release. Gun is housed in blue canvas tan leather trimmed Perazzi case lined in blue Perazzi marked cloth which contains some paperwork and six Briley choke tubes. (two in gun). Installation tool missing. CONDITION: Excellent, showing considerable use, but no abuse. Barrels retain nearly all of what appears to be their original blue, silvered on sharp edges and along rib. Action retains most of its original coin finish, blued parts somewhat silvered. Stocks retain nearly all of their original finish with some light marks. Checkering is lightly worn. Bores are excellent, but dirty. Action is tight. Mechanically fine. Second trigger pull is a bit light. Case shows considerable wear, top beginning to detach with separation of interior cloth at hinge. Otherwise good. Current retail for this model is over $18,000.00. MGM 133
