This a basic standard later model made in the late 1880's. "44" stamp on left side of frame for caliber. Features blade front sight, factory nickel finish and two piece walnut grips. CONDITION: Muzzle is rounded. Sharp barrel address. Sight filed. Light pitting. Approximately 80% original nickel on web and barrel. 80% nickel on right side of frame with age freckling. Left side of frame has 50% with age freckling and light pitting. Cylinder has 20% nickel with some light pitting. Trigger guard retains 85% nickel, as does backstrap. Thinning on front grip strap. Walnut stocks are very good. Indexes and locks up correctly. Strong, sharp rifling with black powder abrasion.
