These were numbered 1 to 3300. This revolver features the roll engraved Naval battle scene on cylinder which is half visible, but there is a 2" section of cylinder that is pitted with nothing visible. Matching numbers on frame, barrel, trigger guard and backstrap, cylinder number is not readable due to pitting. Features one piece walnut grips, nickel plated trigger guard and backstrap, and balance of gun is also factory nickel plated. Stamped with Colt's patent on left side of frame. CONDITION: Barrel and ejector housing retain about 50% nickel, blending with patina. Frame has 60% nickel with age spotting on left side. Grips are very good. Indexes and locks up perfectly. Has fairly good rifling but there is a ring 3" down in barrel.
