Often referred to as the Alaskan or Philippine Model, it is basically a Model 1878 with oversized trigger and guard. Inspector stamp "RAC" Renaldo Carr on left side of trigger and frame. Right side of frame is stamped "1902 US" and "JTT" John T. Thompson. Standard features include six shot, double action, blued finish, lanyard loop and black composite grips. CONDITION: Gun retains approximately 30% original but is basically a soft blue-brown patina overall. The left grip panel is missing a sliver of material. Indexes and locks up correctly. Strong, clean rifled bore with sharp lands and shiny grooves with light black powder residue.
