This has to be a transition from the 1891 in that the frame still has the "PS" marking on left side, but has the thumb lever on breech block. Sharp barrel address on top of half octagon barrel, blued finish, checkered walnut forend and grips. CONDITION: Barrel retains approximately 85% of the blued finish over some rather harsh pitting. Frame retains approximately 80% of the original high polish blue finish with scattered freckling. Forend screw is marred and needs replacing. Strong bore and action. Should be a good shooter as is but a good candidate for restoration.
