Standard features of this 1849 Pocket Model are full octagon barrel, loading lever, five shot cylinder with stagecoach roll engraved scene, nickel plated straps with varnished walnut stocks and nitre blue screws. Barrel has New York address. Colt's patent on left side of frame. Cylinder is No. 28912. Matching numbers on frame, barrel, backstrap, loading lever and cylinder pin. CONDITION: Blue has faded to a soft patina on barrel. Cylinder has no finish but retains nearly all of the roll engraved stagecoach scene. Partial nitre blue on frame screws. 80% nickel plating on straps. Majority of varnish still on grips. Indexes and locks up precisely. Strong rifled bore with light frosting in grooves.
