The Model 52 Winchester was considered the premier small bore target rifle of its day and while sorely outdated it can still hold its own in any match. It features a 27" heavy barrel with a target globe front sight with interchangeable disks. There is no rear barrel sight. It sports the A-O blocks for the barrel mounted tube scopes. The rear bridge has a military style folding long range target sight, adjustable for both windage and elevation. It is magazine fed and one original magazine is included. Features blue finish, walnut stock, straight comb, pistol grip, checkered steel buttplate, and single barrel band with swivel attached. CONDITION: Barrel and frame retain 98% of the original factory blue polish. Walnut stocks are excellent with a couple of minor usual handling marks. The floorplate and trigger guard retain approximately 20% blue with the balance flaking off, as is par for these guns. It wears a Hoyt 1918 Springfield leather sling. Fine bore and action. Beautiful rifle that was lightly used and well cared for. Still has a reputation as a tack driver.
