This carbine features a tapered round smoothbore barrel with crown over "LM" and "LAM" stamped on left side of breech. The rounded lock plate features double lined borders and is stamped in center PROPRIEDADE/PARTICULAR. It features a rounded reinforced cock. The left side is fitted with a saddle bar with proof mark crown over "MG" at rear and a brass ring. The brass furniture is of the standard British style. Partially figured Walnut stock with brass end cap and original steel ram rod. CONDITION: Excellent overall. Lock, barrel, and ring bar all retain a spotted brown patina. Shows little use overall. Lock is very strong and functions well. Brass retains a mellow patina. Stock excellent with only a couple light storage marks.
