Lot consists of: Gun (A) Type 99 Kokura rifle with large shrapnel strike in butt. Receiver has full Mum but bolt is mismatched. Numerous dings and nicks with anti-aircraft sights and cleaning rod. Shrapnel strike was obviously a tremendous impact as it crushed the stock as well as cracked it at the wrist. CONDITION: Rifle is fair condition with a coat of light rust over most metal. The stock is of course mangled at the butt from shrapnel strike. Gun (B) Duffel-Cut Kokura Model 99 Arisaka. Full Mum, anti-aircraft sight and mismatched bolt. Stock has been duffel cut under rear barrel band. CONDITION: Fair as stock is cut under rear band. Mismatched bolt. Good bore. 40% blue balance turning patina. Neat lot of World War II bring-back rifles.
