Lot consists of: Gun (A) Siamese Type 45 bolt action rifle made by Tokyo Arsenal. Gun has original dust cover, Siamese markings on receiver and rear bridge. Blued barrel with military sights. Blued receiver with electro-penciled serial number and Japanese arsenal mark. Wood stock with finger groove and metal butt. CONDITION: Barrel and action have 80% reapplied military finish with a shootable bore. Wood has original finish with usage scratches and dings. Mechanically sound and functions fine. Missing cleaning rod. Gun (B) Tokyo Arsenal made Type 38 carbine with blued barrel and action. Military rear sight with yardage and fixed front. Full wood stock with pieced buttstock and sling swivels. Mum has been ground. CONDITION: Barrel and action have 70% original blue with ground mum and mismatched bolt. Stock has coat of varnish with dings and scratches. Bolt looks to have been polished. Mechanically sound and functions. Missing cleaning rod.
