Lot consists of: Gun (A) Winchester Model 1894 Saddle Ring Carbine manufactured 1916. This classic, old school, pre-World War I Saddle Ring Carbine features full round barrel, full magazine, twin bands, post-front sight, Marbles replacement rear sight, saddle ring and stud, blued finish, gumwood stocks and carbine butt. CONDITION: Barrel and tube retain approximately 90% original factory blue with sharp legends. Frame has all grey patina. Screws are fairly straight. Stocks are very good to excellent, having been refinished at one time. Fine action and mirror bore. Gun (B) Custom converted Winchester Model 1892 carbine manufactured 1905. This project started off as a Model 1892 rifle; the newly made barrel is stamped "CMS .22 LR" and is serial numbered 96791. Lyman receiver sight has been added. CONDITION: Barrel retains approximately 85% custom blue but has numerous scratches around the circumference, one measures 1/2" long. Replaced forend and barrel band. Tube retains approximately 75% blue. Frame is a nice mix of original blue-brown patina. Buttstock is excellent and proud to metal with usual dings. Forend has a chip on left side and the area of wood ahead of the band has not been finished. We do not know how this custom rifle functions as it still has the full length opening and original lifter, so we do not know how it will feed, but it is an interesting custom with fine bore and action.
