Lot consists of: Gun (A) Winchester Model 75, magazine fed, bolt action, .22 target rifle manufactured in 1947 featuring the target globe front sight. Gun is not drilled for a rear barrel sight, simply two sets of tap holes so that a barrel mounted tube scope could be added. Has a Lyman long range target receiver sight. The walnut stock features a straight comb, pistol grip, and checkered steel buttplate. Comes with a Springfield type leather sling and one original magazine. CONDITION: Barrel and frame retain approximately 95% original blue with some brown age freckling coming to the surface. Scope holes are not plugged. Trigger guard and floorplate retain approximately 75% original blue with the balance having flaked. Stocks are very good to excellent with usual handling marks. On the right side of the stock is an old 1950's decal of the Sioux Chief Rain-In-The-Face which is 98% intact with beautiful color. We have no idea why it is there but it could be easily removed. Was definitely applied during the period of manufacture for the gun. Has a strong pronounced rifle bore. Gun (B) Winchester Model 69A, magazine fed, bolt action sporting rifle. Has a 25" barrel with no serial number. Chambered for all of the .22's. Manufactured from 1935-1963 and were never serialed. Gun features full round barrel. Both sights have been removed and have the all the bluing, indicating that the Weaver B6 scope might have been factory installed. Even though the B6 was introduced in 1954, it might have replaced an earlier model but cannot be the scope originally placed on the model. Comes with one original extended magazine. Standard sling swivels. CONDITION: Barrel and frame retain approximately 98% original blue finish. Stock is very good to excellent with just normal handling marks dings and impressions common on used rifles. Magazine, trigger guard and floorplate retain 90% original finish. Has an offhand sling. Fine bore and action. A nice sporter offering good quality at an affordable price.
