Offered is a very scarce LeMat type revolver, its only visible markings being the Liege proofs on the end of the cylinder and "FW" on frame. It is a near exact copy of the Model 1869 which features the 12mm round barrel. This revolver is almost a dead ringer for the LeMat Model 1869 with just subtle nuances; it is an eight shot .46 caliber double action with smoothbore lower. Finish in factory blue with two piece walnut grips. CONDITION: Revolver is basically a mix of blue and soft brown patina with approximately 50% blue on frame. Grips are very good, left grip has one small chip and three kill notches, right grip is excellent. Indexes properly. Fine bores. These guns are almost never seen and are far rarer than their black powder counterpart.
