Gun (A) Winchester Model 1892 lever action rifle manufactured 1914. Features octagon barrel, full magazine, Winchester sporting sights, blued finish, walnut stocks and rifle butt. CONDITION: Clean, attic-find gun that was well used, retaining flashes of blue on tube and barrel, basically turning patina. Frame is grey patina with age spotting. Screws are fairly straight. Stocks are very good; buttstock was refinished at one time and a little shy to metal. Fine action. Strong, visible rifling with frosted grooves. Not a collector grade, but a nice, untouched example that should be a decent shooter. Gun (B) Winchester model 1894 lever action rifle manufactured 1901. Features full round barrel, button magazine, Winchester sporting sights, blued finish, walnut stocks and rifle butt. CONDITION: This is a fairly nice, original, untouched rifle; special order. Barrel retains approximately 98% of the original factory blue finish. Frame is a pleasing mix of blue-brown patina with fire blue on loading gate and minor age freckling. Stocks are excellent, proud to metal, never refinished; retaining a nice, rich, dark finish. Fine action. Excellent bore with strong lands and clean grooves. A very handsome, homogeneous Winchester rifle.
