Lot consists of: Gun (A) Remington Model 1894 Grade A Made from 1894 to 1910. Features steel barrels, concave matted rib, brass bead front sight, extractors, non-automatic safety and double triggers. Gun has walnut stock with checkering, round knob pistol grip, push button release forearm and hooked Remington logo hard rubber buttplate. CONDITION: Barrels have turned from blue to a spotty brown finish with bright and shiny bores. Action and metal parts have turned to plum. Stock has remnants of an old refinish and a poorly repaired wrist crack with a small chip missing. Locks up tight and functions. Gun (B) Parker GH Grade made in 1903. Features damascus steel barrels, extractors, double triggers, non-automatic safety and unfinished straight grip walnut stock with skeleton steel butt. Original checkered splinter forearm with latch release. CONDITION: Barrels retain 50% damascus finish with mirror bores. Action is worn to a silver patina. Stock is an unfinished replacement with the gun being originally a pistol grip. Forearm is original with the checkering worn flat. Lot would make an excellent restoration project.
