Offered is a fine mid-war US .45 manufactured in 1943. It is standard in all respects including Type II bevel edge rear sight, serrated spurless hammer, short checkered trigger, serrated slide stop, checkered safety, serrated arched mainspring housing. Has the early model brown Keyes grips without reinforcing rings. Left side of slide has the Remington Rand address, left side of frame has FJA for Frank Atwood inspector stamp. Right side has Ordnance wheel with "US Property." CONDITION: Gun retains 97% of the military applied parkerized matte finish. No real visible temper line. Fine bore and action. Original type magazine with the Risdon stamp.
