Offered is a standard late Fourth Model with octagon barrel, roll engraved Naval scene cylinder, case colored hammer, lever and frame; brass straps and one piece varnished walnut grips. Barrel has New York address. Full or partial matching serial numbers can be found on the frame, barrel, trigger guard, backstrap, cylinder, cylinder pin and wedge. Has the small blade front sight. The roll-engraved cylinder scene is almost entirely visible. Colors on frame, hammer and lever have basically turned a soft, chocolate patina. No visible plating on straps. Frame screws slightly marred. 50% original varnish on superbly fitting grips. Indexes and locks up like new. Strong, sharp lands with frosted grooves and minor black powder abrasion.
