"NM" stamped on right front trigger bow. Slide has the Colt patent stamp on right side. Left side is stamped "NM7791435". Barrel is stamped "45 AUTO NM7791414" and is serial numbered to match the frame. Has the special period cut-back front target sight. The rear adjustable target sight "(triangle) REG" on right side and "US" on left side. Left side of frame has the "FJA" Frank Atwood stamp. Trigger is lightweight aluminum adjustable. Hammer is a serrated non-spur. Leftover checkered slide stop and safety. Serrated arched mainspring housing with loop. Checkered front strap. Parkerized finish applied. Fully checkered walnut grips. CONDITION: Retains 97% of the reapplied parkerized finish dating to US target upgrade. Pistol has some light slide drag lines, otherwise retains 98% reapplied matte finish.
