Slightly curved flat steel blade with 2-1/2" clip point. Left side of ricasso stamped with a crescent moon and "CAMUS/ APAU" on left side. Silver guard and pommel cap engraved with foliate designs and florals on both sides. Left side engraved with hearts and bow and arrow in the center. Ebony grip decorated with molded borders and engraved silver strap on top and plain unengraved strap on bottom. Each side is decorated with three convex silver ovals engraved with flowers. CONDITION: Very good. Blade retains a light grey patina with some areas of darker patina. Silver is unpolished. Bottom grip strap possibly replaced. This is a nice, well marked and attractive hunting sword.
