Oak frame, matted, 39" by 57-1/2" sight size. The lithograph titled below scene "ANDERSONVILLE PRISON, CAMP SUMTER GA., as it appeared August 1, 1864, when it contained 35,000 prisoners of war/drawn from memory by Thomas O'Dea, late Private Co. E. 16th Regt. Maine Infl. Vols; On stone by T.J.S. Landis". Hentry Selbert & Bros Litho 1885. Birdseye view of the high walled prison with outskirts of cleared area with Union soldiers. The whole surrounded by 20 vignettes with caption key. CONDITION: Lithograph shows areas of minor foxing, edge rips and a few scattered holes.
