This ceramic stein measures about 11-1/2" tall including finial on lid. The ceramic base is marked to the 76th Regiment of Artillery, 2nd Battery of the 5th Baden Field Artillery Regiment. Also marked "FREIBURG i. B. 1906=08." It depicts several scenes of artillery units in action. The pewter lid features a seated artillery soldier finial and an Imperial eagle on the opener. CONDITION: Good. One minor 1/2" oval shaped crack near rim and a couple minor pinpoint size losses to paint. Lid is slightly bent and attachment to handle is slightly loose. A very attractive and authentic regimental stein.
