Offered is a complete, original 1912 Winchester calendar with complete pad. The original painting was done by the famous N.C. Wyeth. Measures 29-3/4" high x 15" wide without frame. Both bands are visible. This image shows two hunters on a cliff with a grizzly bear above them; the left hunter is shooting an 1885 Winchester, while the foremost hunter is wielding a Winchester semi-automatic rifle. Image is clean and bright. There are some horizontal creases below the pad, a couple on the edges and one near the top. There are a couple of creases from the center that actually go into the print but they are negligible and do not take away from the overall visual appeal. Blacklight shows no signs of restoration. Pad staples are original. N.C. Wyeth was an American artist and illustrator. He was the pupil of artist Howard Pyle and became one of America's greatest illustrators. During his lifetime, Wyeth created over 3,000 paintings and illustrated 112 books.
