Features a 27 - 5/8 inch barrel made out of cast steel. This beautiful half stock rifle features an octagon to round barrel made out of cast steel, a tube target front sight, leaf sporting rear sight, lollipop tang sight, brass hardware including patchbox, backlock action engraved with birds, lightly engraved hammer, single trigger, nickel fore end cap, and an oak rod held in by three thimbles. Patina is a rich brown, smooth finish, with razor sharp finish. Stock is excellent, proud to metal with no cracks. Muzzle is recessed, and has a strong, clean, rifle bore. Well above average for one of these early half stocks. 10 pounds 10 ounces.
