Made on a #2 Frame, this Parker was finished as the 2nd gun in 1915. The gun has double triggers, extractors, and automatic safety. The 30" Vulcan steel barrels have a full length matted top rib with usual barrel markings, twin ivory beads, and an unstruck barrel weight of 4lbs 2oz. The splinter forend is checkered in standard VH pattern with Deeley release and steel tip. The action has standard VH zig-zag border pattern engraving and is marked "Parker Bros." on sides. The capped pistol gripped buttstock is checkered in two point pattern with scarce ball grip and terminates in white lined Pachmayr pad. CONDITION: Good to very good. Barrels retain about 85% original blued finish. Action has been cleaned bright and no original color remains except in protected areas. The trigger guard has strong traces of original blue on bow, toned elsewhere. Stocks are sound and retain about 80% of an older restored finish with minor hunting bumps and handling marks. Bores are very good, mechanics are fine.
