A) S.H. Ward stamped half stock kentucky with percussion lock. Curly maple stock with cheekpiece and German silver saddleplate. Brass hardware with original ramrod and sights. B) Southern style rifle built from parts . Lock is a Burnside carbine percussion back action lock. Barrel is a half octagon to round smoothbore barrel with rifle sights. Brass furniture with walnut fullstock. Single trigger with original ramrod. C) Half stock percussion with W. Jacot percussion lock dated 1836. Walnut checkered stock, octagon rifled barrel with plugged sight dovetails. Brass furniture with engraved 4 piece patchbox and nice engraved sun inlay on the cheek.CONDITION: A) Good original condition with nice patina. Wood has nice finish with unrepaired crack on backside of lock. Missing 1/4" piece of the toeplate. Solid rifle and mechanically sound. B) Overall solid rifle with missing action screw. Mechanically sound with a coat of finish added. C) Mechanically sound with triggers being a little sticky. Several repaired cracks in wood.
