A wonderful example of an upright coin flip slot machine, manufactured by Mills Novelty Co. from 1903 to 1918. Perfectly housed in a tiger stripe oak cabinet with elegant hand carved trim and wood scrollwork throughout; this is the early fancy style. Paired with ornate cast iron hardware and legs, nicely displaying its colorful components. Place the nickel in the coin entry, push the handle down slightly then pull the plunger and let go. Watch the nickel fall through the pin field in hopes of landing through one of the nine pockets and into a jackpot. A fascinating machine and in superb condition for an older restoration with light surface wear. Retaining the original back door and paper instructions with older replacement locks. Five keys are included.
