According to the factory letter, serial No. 33949 left the factory in a group of 25 other guns on May 23rd, 1882 with factory nickel finish and hard rubber grips. The 2" barrel is so short it does not allow for any barrel address. Barrel does not have a caliber marking. Marked ".41 CAL" on the rear left trigger bow. Left side of frame has the three line patent dates. All matching numbers. Black composite grips are not marked inside. Not built for ejector. CONDITION: Retains approximately 60-70% original nickel finish with overall toning, handling marks and freckles. No visible case colors on hammer. Grips are excellent. Indexes and locks up; double action is sticky while single action is fine. Strong bore. These are extremely difficult to find in this barrel length and it is believed there are less than a dozen known to exist.
