Offered is an early high polish, British shipped New Service, most of which saw service with the British Army during the first World War. Has commercial finish, black composite grips with case colored lanyard. British proofs on all cylinder flutes, as well as frame and barrel. CONDITION: Straps and trigger guard are a mix of blue and brown patina. Some age freckling on barrel, still a good 85-90% of the brilliant original factory blue. Smooth action. Strong, clean rifled bore.
